Step 5: Route and Protect the Wiring

Outdoor connections should use suitable junction boxes, glands and sealing components. Avoid relying on ordinary indoor tape as the main moisture barrier.
Several low-voltage lights are normally arranged so each receives the rated voltage. Very long series-like cable runs can create dim fixtures at the far end. Dividing the installation into planned branches may improve performance and simplify maintenance.
Step 6: Mount the Fixtures
Secure each fixture using the specified hardware. Confirm that pole sleeves, brackets and anchor points match the luminaire.
